Acne can show up as any of the following: congested pores, whiteheads, blackheads, pimples, pustules, or cysts (deep pimples). These blemishes occur wherever there are many oil (sebaceous) glands, located mainly on the face, chest, and back. It is important to see a dermatologist early so that medical intervention can be taken while the acne is still at a manageable stage and before significant scarring has occurred.
Good acne control begins with the use of everyday skincare products that are uniquely suitable for your skin. Secondly, regular gentle facial cleansing is important, especially if makeup is worn.
